Moirae with teacher, Phoenix Avathar
Moirae, meaning "the Fates," is a dark tribal fusion student troupe made up of dancers Baseema, Cailtin, and Diana of
Dancing Ember Studio. The three gorgeous dancers got together in one of Phoenix's classes and worked so well together that
they decided to form their own small troupe. They have performed at several Za-Beth events in Boston, Raks Spooki II,
and the People's Choice Awards. They have won two awards - for best costuming and for most original choreography/performance
at the Boston NBDA People's Choice Awards.
Moirae will be performing at Shimmies for a Cure in Somerville, MA on March 29th
